Mumbai: With an aim to enhance the mental wellbeing of underprivileged children, Furtados School Of Music- India’s foremost music education institute associated with Catalysts for Social Action (CSA) NGO to host a Virtual Cup Rhythm session. The main aim of this session was to trigger a creative spark in the kids, while creating an enthusiastic learning environment for all the children who participated. This was largely to mitigate the impact of the pandemic on the mental health of the children.
Catalysts for Social Action(CSA) is known for creating and ensuring a brighter future for every child under institutional care. The association with Furtados School of Music presented an opportunity to more than 2500 children from Maharashtra, Goa, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, along other Indian states to leverage music session for mental healing. With the pandemic looming, the event was executed virtually, allowing children to learn cup songs while following the COVID protocols. During the session, fun games were organised to keep the kids entertained. The session was a huge success thanks to the overwhelming positive feedback.
