Conversational AI solutions or voice based AI technology can transform Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and lead to tangible gains in both efficiency and cost of documentation across the continuum of healthcare for hospitals, highlighted a whitepaper launched by Augnito,a AI healthcare solutions company in a recently held conference.
The whitepaper launched in HIMSS India ’21, explained how adoption of Voice AI technology has fastened the speed of typing by four times. Saved 75% of the total time i.e. close to two hours spent by doctors on documentation.
“Augnito is used by 6000+ doctors in 25 states in India and covers more than 50+ medical specialties and subspecialties within two years of being launched to assist doctors which has rampantly improved their efficiency,” claimed the company in a statement.

Augnito was first launched in the Indian market in January 2020. Augnito in association with Japanese company Fujifilm focuses on enabling voice recognition within their Radiology Information System platform.
