Hyderabad: Telangana AI Mission (T-AIM) has selected 38 startups into the second cohort of the Revv Up acceleration programme launched by Telangana Government and NASSCOM. The programme will empower the AI startups through a series of structured interventions. The cohort represents 12 sectors including enterprise software-as-a-service, healthcare, e-commerce, HRTech among others. More than two-thirds of the startup cohort, selected from 10 states, are interested in setting up offices here. Over 80 per cent of the cohort either is bootstrapped or has early funding, and more than 40 per cent startups have a female founder.
“From addressing non-invasive healthcare solutions, to reducing carbon footprint and waste water management, these startups will affect the course of our near future and also bring sustainable change at scale for our society,” said Industries Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan. Since last August, the Revv Up acceleration has been providing opportunities for AI startups to interact with Government and industry. These startups have been receiving mentorship and knowledge sessions from industry experts, access to global pathways, and technology and IP resources to build scalable businesses.
Revv Up is a free of equity or cost accelerator programme by T-AIM and is designed for early-stage AI startups. The next cohort of Revv Up will commence in August 2022 and applications will be called in July.
