The Australian’s Chris Griffith says chatbots can be “useful” but also “really annoying”. The telecommunications ombudsman has heavily criticised telcos for failing to lift their game when selling mobile services.
Mr Griffith said people selling mobile services may not be listening to the needs of the consumer. “We’re starting to see more chatbots used,” he told Sky News Australia.
“Chatbots can be useful, but they can be really annoying.”
