To demystify and democratise cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) for everybody, Intel runs Digital Readiness Programs in collaboration with stakeholders from the public and private sectors as well as from academia and civil society.
By granting access to AI technologies, Intel’s programmes are designed to meet the diverse learning demands of all age groups, unleashing AI’s potential and making it available to all.
Two programmes fall under this category after that. The age ranges of 13 to 20 will be the focus of Intel’s AI for Youth programme. The programme is excited to demystify AI and give young people the knowledge and perspectives needed to be AI-ready. As proof of success, it hopes to develop solutions with significant social impact. For this programme, participants are expected to have a solid understanding of arithmetic and statistics.
Intel will offer an age-appropriate learning experience based on experiential methodology that covers social and technical skills (such as understanding AI ethics, biases, and privacy) and technical skills (such as programming, data science, computer vision, and natural language processing). The course covers statistical data, natural language processing, and computer vision.
Young innovators who design and present AI-enabled ideas to address real-world issues will be given Certificates of Participation and Certificates of Accomplishments.
All age groups are welcome to participate in Intel’s AI for All programme. For people from all walks of life—students, parents, professionals from all fields, older citizens, etc.—this programme strives to demystify the wonders of AI. AI Aware and AI Appreciate are the two components of the program’s 4-hour training, respectively.
Participants will receive a basic introduction to artificial intelligence (AI), as well as information on its uses and common myths. The curriculum attempts to provide a fundamental grasp of AI, as well as its advantages and disadvantages. They will also begin creating their own learning programmes and obtain a basic understanding of the common AI topics and problems.
The programme is open to anyone with digital access who has no technical expertise and is interested in learning more about artificial intelligence. The programme is not intended to take the place of any official programmes for education, training, or workforce preparation.
