Will ChatGPT force you to stop working? Since the chatbot was created in the second half of last year, that issue has come up repeatedly. It has won praise for its capacity to make a range of complex subjects understandable. Nonetheless, ChatGPT has received a lot of flak for having detrimental effects on schooling. On Thursday, Infosys founder Narayana Murthy allayed worries that ChatGPT or AI might replace occupations held by people.
In comments made outside of the NASSCOM Technology and Leadership Conference 2023, the founder of Infosys praised ChatGPT. He said, “I used ChatGPT,” and then gave a full account of their interaction with the chatbot. That was initially mentioned to me by my child a few months ago. It gives you information, which you may then apply in original ways based on your imagination.
Murthy stressed that there won’t be a loss of employment, saying, “Even in 1977–1978, there were program generators that had entered, so everyone was afraid about jobs, but that didn’t happen. The human mind is the most adaptable tool because of this. The use of technology and human ingenuity was then put to use to solve larger issues.
Hence, “ChatGPT is a lovely one, but we must use it as a basis and then utilize it to exhibit our creativity and solve larger difficulties, but be it ChatGPT or AI, it will never replace people,” he continued in his conclusion.
