OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, is opposed to regulating smaller firms in the field of artificial intelligence, according to Sam Altman, CEO of the company.
“We have explicitly stated that there should be no regulation of smaller businesses.” “The only regulation we’ve called for is on ourselves and larger people,” he remarked at an event hosted by the national daily Economic Times.
Altman is on a globe-trotting tour, meeting the leaders of other countries.
As it invests in processing capacity, OpenAI has raised $10 billion from Microsoft (MSFT.O) at a valuation of around $30 billion.
