To realize robotics’ revolutionary potential, the Draught “National Strategy for Robotics” aspires to make India a global robotics leader by 2030. To further strengthen India’s integration into the global value chain, it also builds on Make in India 2.0, which includes robotics listed as one of the 27 sub-sectors.
The Strategy focuses on bolstering every pillar of the robotics industry’s innovation cycle while also offering a strong institutional structure to guarantee that these interventions are carried out successfully. To ensure the participation of all pertinent players in the innovation, development, deployment, and adoption of this robotic technology in India, a whole-ecosystem approach is used.
MeitY is seeking public feedback on the new national robotics strategy. The application period will end on October 31, 2023.
