The 2nd International Conference on Next-Generation Computing and Information Systems was hosted by the Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET).
The keynote lectures given by four eminent US computer science professors on the first day of the conference were the conference’s high point. MIET Director Prof. Ankur Gupta gave the welcome speech.
After a thorough peer-review procedure, 34 research papers—or 30% of the 112 submissions—were ultimately selected for presentation at the conference. The conference proceedings will be included in the Scopus database and published by CRC Press, Taylor and Francis Group.
The inaugural keynote talk was given by Prof. Sartaj Sahni, a highly regarded computer science scholar from the University of Florida in the United States who is also a fellow of the IEEE, ACM, and AAAS. He discussed quick reinforcement learning techniques.
Professor Upendranath Sharma Chakravarthy, an ACM Distinguished Scientist and ACM Distinguished Speaker, from the University of Texas in Arlington. He showcased a number of cutting-edge projects from his Distributed Systems Lab, such as Autonomous Video Situation Monitoring, which enables users to search in real-time for items or situations of interest in video streams, and the creative application of multi-layer networks for intricate data processing.
Professor Arif Sawat, who holds a chair in education, is the director of Florida International University’s Energy Power Sustainability (EPS) group and the FPL-FIU Solar Research Facility. He discussed how Artificial Intelligence will affect Physical Infrastructure with High Penetration Renewable Energy.
Four thought-provoking paper presentation sessions including authors from more than 50 universities and institutions worldwide took place on the second day of the conference. Cutting-edge fields like artificial intelligence, machine learning, the internet of things, cyber security, met averse, multimedia processing, high-performance computing, digital twins, remote sensing, and distributed computing were all covered by the wide spectrum of approved papers. Professors S.K. Sharma, G.S. Sambyal, Devanand, B.C. Sharma, Sahil Sawhney, Ashok Kumar, Ajay Khajuria, and Babar Afzal were among the other dignitaries in attendance.
