Microsoft today announced the start of a project to train 100,000 Indian engineers on the newest AI tools and technology. The curriculum provides a thorough learning experience that aids developers in gaining and exhibiting the necessary abilities to carry out important projects utilizing AI technologies in line with corporate objectives and results. AI is changing the way we live and work, so India needs a trained workforce that can apply AI to solve challenging issues and add value. Microsoft is providing developers with opportunity to design solutions for India’s growth and demonstrate their ability to handle real-world problems through initiatives like AI Odyssey. Developers must register on aka.ms/AIOdyssey in order to access the learning modules and materials and take part in the AI Odyssey. All Indian AI enthusiasts are welcome to enroll in the month-long program, regardless of background or level of experience. Participants must finish both of the program’s levels by January 31, 2024. The program’s first level instructs participants on how to develop and implement AI solutions for various scenarios using Azure AI services. They will have access to helpful materials, code snippets, and tutorials to help them learn useful AI skills.
During the program’s second level, participants are required to demonstrate their AI proficiency through an online assessment and interactive lab assignments. Successful completion of these tasks awards participants Microsoft Applied Skills credentials, a new, verifiable credential that attests to their ability to use AI to solve real-world problems. In addition, participants who successfully complete both challenge levels will have the opportunity to win a VIP pass, which will allow them to witness the transformative power of generative AI on February 8, 2024, at the Microsoft AI Tour in Bangalore. A unique event, the AI Tour shows how generative AI can foster new kinds of creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving. During the tour, developers can network with peers and learn from Microsoft professionals and partners through keynote presentations, demos, and workshops.
The general director of Microsoft India, Irina Ghose, declared, “India is leading the way with its tech talent and AI is the future of innovation.” Developers can showcase their proficiency and inventiveness in the most sought-after AI scenarios and skills by earning the Microsoft Applied Skills credential. We invite all developers to collaborate with us in developing significant AI solutions that would boost the economy of India.
