The Financial Times said that the AI chatbot “PairD” was created by Deloitte’s AI institute and was released in the UK in October. Employees can use the application to help with daily chores including conducting research, sending emails, and making PowerPoint presentations.
According to a recent press release from the company, it can also develop project plans, provide advice on best practices for project management, and make suggestions on job prioritization.
According to the FT, staff members have been advised that the tool may yield erroneous information on individuals, locations, and facts. As a result, employees have been instructed to research the chatbot’s work on their own.
The new tool is a component of Deloitte’s long-term AI investment plans, according to a statement released this week by Costi Perricos, the company’s leader in generative AI.
“A key focus for employers should be on how to use these new tools safely, so that they can be applied correctly and create value,” he stated.
Deloitte was contacted by Business Insider for comment, but they did not respond right away.
As BI has noted, consulting firms such as PWC have also been pressuring staff members to acquire AI skills and apply them to their jobs.
To help them securely integrate AI into their work, the corporation recently provided training to 75,000 employees in the US and Mexico.
