A Data & Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence has been established by Accenture Federal Services and Google Public Sector to assist federal agencies in modernizing citizen services with solutions tailored specifically for federal agencies, such as generative AI technologies from Google Cloud. Through secure data management platforms and assets, the Data & AI Center of Excellence meets regulatory compliance requirements while supporting sensitive and classified workloads.
“The federal government has countless opportunities to launch new capabilities and restructure their operations through the use of optimal large language models to synthesize, analyze, and contextualize data in a responsible and ethical manner,” stated John Goodman, CEO of Accenture Federal Services. In order to speed up content discovery and summarization, modernize interactive call center conversation, and eventually provide more intuitive and seamless end user experiences, we look forward to working with customers to quickly prototype, create, automate, and scale AI.
The Data & AI Center of Excellence, which marks the next stage of an expanded strategic alliance between Accenture Federal Services and Google Public Sector, provides access to cutting-edge technologies like Google’s language models, Vertex AI platform, and AI-optimized infrastructure, as well as mission-focused expertise and specialized data and AI experts. Additionally, Google Cloud’s AI-powered code creation capabilities will be available to clients, helping to expedite software development processes.
According to Karen Dahut, CEO of Google Public Sector, “federal agencies are rich with data, and many require cutting-edge data management capabilities to successfully deploy and unlock the tremendous potential of AI.” “Google was founded on the idea of making the world’s data accessible and useful, as well as on cutting edge AI research. We are ecstatic to co-open the Data & AI Center of Excellence, providing clients with cutting-edge tools to accomplish their missions successfully.
In order to assist U.S. federal agencies in quickly identifying and addressing increasingly complex cyberattacks, Accenture Federal Services and Google Public Sector announced in 2023 the establishment of a Cybersecurity Center of Excellence, driven by Mandiant’s front-line threat intelligence. Following the establishment of the Cybersecurity Center of Excellence, the corporations have made investments in training and problem-solving, and they have collaborated on several federal cybersecurity projects. Since 2018, Google and Accenture have collaborated globally.
