The whole healthcare workforce is predicted to grow from 7.5 million to 9 million by 2027, with 1-2% of workers becoming digital professionals, according to recruiting consultant TeamLease Digital. Furthermore, it’s estimated that developments in telemedicine, virtual assistants, and data analytics would generate 2.7–3.5 million new technology employment, necessitating the need for experts in data science and artificial intelligence.
