2023 has only been going for two months, yet it already seems like artificial intelligence will rule the year. Since Microsoft and Google revealed their AI-powered tools, the only topic of conversation among business professionals is the development of artificial intelligence. Opera has now jumped on board and wants to add AI to its content apps and online browsers. This article has described how Opera is incorporating services for AI-generated content into its browsers.
In a blog post on its official website, Opera declared that it is incorporating AIGC services into both its PC and mobile browsers.
Through its solutions and current and new alliances, the business is also “taking measures to expand its existing AI programme into AIGC for its browser, news, and gaming products.”
Opera has shown a brand-new function for the sidebar of its browser. The ChatGPT-powered’shorten’ tool can be used to create summaries of webpages and publications. A little demo film that demonstrates how ChatGPT will be incorporated into the browser is also included on the blog.
Opera’s co-CEO Song Lin wrote in a blog post, “In the more than 25 years of our company’s history, we have always been at the forefront of browser innovation. Whether it’s via creating browser tabs or giving our users built-in access to generative AI tools, we constantly push the limits of what’s possible on the web. Given the growing need for generative AI tools, we think it’s time for browsers to take the lead and act as the entry point for an AI-powered web.
We believe that the emergence of generative intelligence marks the start of a new era in which companies building consumer apps, like Opera, will be able to construct experiences on top of AI-based platforms. Per Wetterdal, Head of Strategic Partnerships and AI Ecosystem at Opera, adding, “We are excited to see the rapid roll-out of developer programmes for solutions like Google Bard, for example, and are beginning to construct and roll-out new experiences in web surfing that were inconceivable not long ago.
But not all users have yet been able to access the new Open AI capability.
