For the ARTPARK innovation challenge ’24, ARTPARK is calling on deep-tech innovation teams and companies in AI, Robotics, and Autonomous Systems to tackle major industry or societal issues. A total of Rs. 2 crore would be given annually to each team or startup by the firms. They will be given access to deep-tech facilities, researchers, investors, and mentors.
The ARTPARK Innovation Challenge 2024 is intended to offer different forms of assistance to different kinds of teams: grants are available for researchers and innovators associated with universities; investments are available for companies; and teams that are not affiliated or incorporated can become Innovators-in-Residences of ARTPARK. Based on stage and suitability, candidates will also be chosen through this competition for the esteemed Startup@ARTPARK programs.
Robotics, autonomous systems, artificial intelligence (AI), AI for Indian languages, communications, and network technologies are among the topics of interest for the innovation challenge. The fields of industrial automation, mobility, agriculture, and health should be represented among the candidates.
Deep support, both financial and non-financial, will be given to the participants for deep tech ideas that will fundamentally alter the industry or society. They can make use of pooled resources in establishments like wireless/5G test beds, ARTgarage (for advanced manufacturing and testing), test beds for drones and autonomous systems, etc.
Businesses can establish connections with venture capitalists (VCs) who have a real interest in deep-tech firms. Accel, Ideaspring, Social Alpha, and Speciale Invest are a few of the initiatives in which they actively participate. Additionally, they will have access to a vibrant ecosystem for cutting-edge research and tech collaborations both in India and outside.
