Through its Center for Continuing Education (CCE), the Indian Institute of Technology Mandi and Himachal Pradesh Kaushal Vikas Nigam (HPKVN) are preparing to start a series of training programs on January 15, 2024. According to an official statement, these free programs aim to provide participants with important knowledge and skills, foster professional development, and improve education and vocational training in the area overall.
Students in Engineering, BCA, MCA, ITI, and Polytechnic programs, as well as educators, trainers, and employed professionals, are welcome to enroll in the courses. Each course lasts for one month, and the statement stated that enrollment for these free offline programs is already open and will run until January 12, 2024.
According to Tushar Jain, head of IIT Mandi’s Center for Continuing Education (CCE), “These programs, which are being sponsored by HPKVN, Shimla in collaboration with IIT Mandi, will be a great opportunity for the youth of Himachal to experience studying at IIT Mandi under the guidance of senior faculty and get practical exposure on advance IIT’s Labs along with Placement support.”
According to the announcement, the main objectives of these programs are to ensure the candidates’ overall development and professional success. They will cover soft skills, English speaking, interview preparation, personality development, group debates, entrepreneurship skills, and startup help.
