Bharat Electronics Ltd. (BEL), a Navratna Defense PSU, and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, have signed an MoU to collaborate on artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and other cutting-edge technologies.
The MoU, signed at the ongoing Aero India 2023 in Bengaluru, intends to capitalise on the complementary strengths and capabilities of BEL and IISc, according to a statement from the company’s Bengaluru headquarters.
The deal will make it possible for BEL and IISc to create a range of products and services using embedded and integrated AI.
For BEL to launch numerous projects, including the creation of R&D solutions, algorithms, and training for BEL engineers, IISc will offer specialised services in AI and ML.
