New Delhi: Luxury carmaker BMW India launched on Thursday the updated version of the M5 Competition sedan, priced at INR 16,190,000 (ex-showroom).
The new sedan will be available as a completely built-up unit (CBU) and can be booked exclusively on the company’s website, BMW said in a media release.
BMW M5 Competition comes with a V8 petrol engine which generates 625 hp of power enabling the car to go from 0-100 in 3.3 seconds.

The sedan comes with retuned chassis, shock absorbers, track mode, active M differential with centralised intelligent control, bespoke engine mounting, M multifunction seats, and set-up button.
Safety features in the car include six airbags, attentiveness assistance, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with brake assist, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) and Electronic Differential Lock Control (EDLC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), electric parking brake with auto hold, side-impact protection, electronic vehicle immobilizer and crash sensors, ISOFIX child seat mounting and emergency spare wheel, the release said.
