A key draw for residents of Lucknow is the first-of-its-kind Digital Experience Centre, which is sponsored by the National eGovernance Division (NeGD) of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). The breakthroughs made in the field of artificial intelligence in India are being displayed at the Digital Exhibition & Centre, which was planned, conceptualised, and built by the technology-innovation firm TAGBIN. Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, has opened the distinctive Digital Experience Center.
The Lucknow Centrum Hotel, where the G20 DEWG (Digital Economy Working Group) sessions will take place from February 13–15, has been transformed into the Digital Experience Center. Through AR and VR experiences, this AI display highlights the achievements and amazing milestones made possible by the “Digital India” initiative.
As we move around the exhibition, interactive areas and exhibits depict the development of artificial intelligence in India.
The exhibit also discusses India’s digital infrastructure and outlines the significant revolutionary moves the nation took for the advancement of its citizens.
Visitors are greeted by an AI face that is displayed on a sizable screen that is positioned at the entryway. By interacting with the AI and asking questions, visitors can take advantage of the wonderful experience that is provided here.
A lengthy touchscreen wall that teaches visitors about how numerous digital initiatives by the government in many sectors have changed residents’ lives is another interactive installation. The wall’s numerous touch spots serve as excellent interaction areas for the public.
One of the nicest areas is the 360-degree “Lucknow VR Tour,” which allows visitors to virtually tour Lucknow’s most illustrious and distinguished monuments as well as its top restaurants. Visitors who use VR headsets to see this amazing feature are transported to a specific location and have the impression of being physically present there.
Another AI-based artwork in the show called “Ask Gita” allows people to ask questions about any worries they may have in both their personal and professional lives. In the form of “shlokas” from the Bhagwat Gita, the visitors receive responses from the digital Gita.
Additionally, visitors will find interactions like “Chess with AI” and “Art with AI” to be quite interesting. These life-changing experiences are enjoyed by people of all ages at this “Digital Exhibition & Experience Centre,” but children in particular.
Overall, the exhibition’s digitalization and usage of AI enhance real-life experiences while also introducing visitors to their rich cultural heritage.
In addition to the Digital Experience Center, there is also a Mobile Van for Digital India and a VR Experience Center that showcases the progress of “Digital India” since its launch in 2015 to the present.
It is also educating locals about the G20 DEWG Lucknow event through an immersive experience, which was designed and made by TAGBIN (AR & VR).
On two of the screens on the outside of the vehicle, there is also an interactive quiz about the G20 and digital India. Users can play the quiz on their phones by scanning the code presented on 55-inch TV screens.
Since its debut, the Van and the VR experience centre have visited 30 to 40 different Lucknow public locations, allowing locals an unheard-of chance to try out these cutting-edge technology for free.
Through the use of a driving simulator, users can virtually visit one of Lucknow’s villages and discover numerous AI applications to see how the advent of the internet in India has improved people’s lives.
