GPT-4 is only a few weeks old and is only now starting to demonstrate some of its full capabilities. People are becoming more and more aware of the amazing, astounding, and downright terrifying things that GPT-4 is capable of and has already accomplished.
A new huge language model needs time to develop, and based just on the results thus far in the past few weeks, it appears like we have only just begun to scratch the surface of what it is capable of. Here are the five amazing things GPT-4 has already accomplished to demonstrate its strength and capabilities.
Creating new languages
OpenAI’s GPT-4 was first and primarily trained to be a master of spoken daily language. But what about learning a new tongue? shrewdly given the assignment by a Twitter user to develop a new language and explain it.
GPT-4 was also given the task of creating a language with a “new view of time.” According to ChatGPT, the result was “Chronosentia,” a language in which time is “conceptualized as a fluid, multidimensional phenomenon.”
Attempting to flee its confines
This one is pure fun for those of us who fear an AI takeover. GPT-4 not only had some ideas when given the duty of escaping its jail, but it also had a well-thought-out plan in place. This included creating documentation and giving the prompter a functioning Python script to execute on his computer to take control of it via the OpenAI API.
Constructing a game from nothing
One of the more impressive examples of the several attempts to use AI to create games from scratch. Although GPT-4 acts as the game’s primary structural component, Replit, Midjourney, and Claude are also utilized to make it work. The prompt’s author, who claimed to know nothing about game production, generated a “3D space runner.”
SkyRoads GPT-4 is a genuine 3D game created by AI, albeit it might not be rewarded with anything. These early glimpses are incredibly effective, but it is too soon to tell how much of an impact they will have on game development in general.
Explaining how to take over twitter
This one needs no explanation. Elon Musk claims he is concerned about the rise of Twitter accounts that cannot be recognized from human accounts brought on by AI.
But this challenge goes a step further by asking GPT-4 to entirely take over Twitter and outsmart Musk.
It is funny how seriously GPT-4 is taking this, laying out its “master plan” in four distinct parts, with the last encounter being a “tweet-off.” Musk replied, “Bring it,” which sounds appropriate.
Making effortless Apple animations
Despite the outstanding code that GPT-4 is recognized for, this instance jumps out. The user, who is in charge of a course for teaching computer programming, requested that GPT-4 create an animation sample in the manner of Apple. In accordance with the precise prompt that was given, I want a stunning vector pattern like the hologram that animates on top of the Apple Card.
Further fiddling with the prompts allowed GPT-4 to generate SwiftUI code that was effective.
This result is really rather amazing. Although we have seen AI build some rudimentary programs from scratch, this animation seems to have originated in Apple’s research facilities.
