The first ChatGPT-integrated chatbot in the country, “Lexi,” was unveiled by the Indian financial technology startup Velocity. The company claims that this most current AI development has combined with its analytics platform, Velocity Insights.
Indian e-commerce companies use Velocity Insights to get a daily business report on WhatsApp, which Meta controls. This is how Velocity incorporated ChatGPT into the WhatsApp Interface.
According to Abhiroop Medhekar, co-founder and CEO of Velocity, “Ever since ChatGPT debuted, our product teams have been brainstorming about how it may be used to benefit our entrepreneurs.” Because Velocity customers frequently utilise Insights, we integrated ChatGPT with the same Interface they use to guide business decisions.”
He declared, “Giving eCommerce entrepreneurs leverage is what we aim to do. Our product teams have discussed ways to use ChatGPT to help our founders ever since it launched. Since Velocity customers frequently utilise Insights to inform business decisions, ChatGPT was connected with the same UI.
Entrepreneurs may obtain a daily business report from Velocity via WhatsApp, which provides them with crucial business information. Also, with the integration of ChatGPT to WhatsApp, an AI named Lexi is now able to respond to questions.
According to the business, “ChatGPT and Velocity Insights enable eCommerce owners AI-powered business insights in a conversational manner, freeing them up for other company operations.”
