In order to provide its clients across industries expertise, IT company Infosys wants to train and certify 50,000 staff in NVIDIA AI technology, the business announced on Wednesday.
The move comes after Infosys and chipset manufacturer NVIDIA expanded their partnership to offer generative AI-based solutions to businesses globally.
In a joint release, Infosys and NVIDIA stated that Infosys “plans to set up an NVIDIA Centre of Excellence, where it will train and certify 50,000 of its employees on NVIDIA AI technology to provide generative AI expertise to its vast network of customers across industries.”
Infosys assists clients in developing generative AI applications for sales, marketing, and business operations by utilizing the full-stack NVIDIA generative AI platform, which includes enterprise-grade software and hardware.
Through the expanded partnership, Infosys Topaz will have access to the NVIDIA AI Enterprise ecosystem, which comprises models, tools, runtimes, and GPU systems. This is a set of AI-first services, solutions, and platforms that use generative AI to drive business value.
The products and services provided by Infosys Topaz are an addition to NVIDIA’s core stack. We are developing end-to-end industry-leading AI solutions that will support businesses on their journey to becoming AI-first by merging our strengths and educating 50,000 of our employees on NVIDIA AI technology, according to Infosys Co-Founder and Chairman Nandan Nilekani.
With the integration, Infosys will produce solutions that clients may use to incorporate generative AI into their operations.
“The generative AI platform is being swiftly enabled by the NVIDIA AI Enterprise ecosystem. Jensen Huang, the founder and CEO of NVIDIA, stated, “Together, NVIDIA and Infosys will build an expert workforce to help businesses use this platform to build custom applications and solutions.”
