Recently, Jio Platforms unveiled Jio Brain, a brand-new AI platform created over the previous two years with the help of hundreds of engineers in their research and development team.
Jio Brain incorporates machine learning (ML) features especially made for telecom, enterprise networks, and different industry-specific IT environments, according to Aayush Bhatnagar, Senior Vice President of Jio. Crucially, it does so without requiring significant network or IT improvements or changes.
Wide-ranging API Support
With a comprehensive collection of more than 500 REST and Data APIs, Jio Brain gives companies the resources they need to develop ML-enabled services that meet their specific requirements.
Various AI Features
Jio Brain has advanced AI features that can be applied to photos, videos, text, documents, and speech, but it is not just focused on businesses. Additionally, it expands its offerings by providing integrated AI algorithms “as a service” to its clientele.
Initiatives for the Future
Jio Brain, according to the business, is ready to help create new 5G services, support enterprise transformations, optimize networks, and create the foundation for the advancement of 6G networks.
It is anticipated that machine learning will play a big part in these next advancements. Jio Platforms is constantly looking to work with scholars that are interested in similar areas of AI/ML.
Government is urged by Reliance Jio and Vi to cease 2G and 3G services
In a different development, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has received proposals from Reliance Jio and Vodafone Idea suggesting that the Indian government create a policy for turning off 2G and 3G networks in the nation. The telecom providers think that improving the ecosystem for 5G use cases would come from moving current users to 4G and 5G networks.
