The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Meity) has said that it will work with Google to help Indians learn more about cyber safety.
Google will work with MeitY on different projects to improve its “Stay Safe Online” programme. These projects include programmes to teach people how to read and write about cyber safety, the creation of multilingual digital content about online safety, and the making of teaching materials about how to find information online.
Google will release a series of videos with famous YouTube creators to teach people how to share information online in a responsible way. This series will focus on specific skills that can help people judge the quality and trustworthiness of information they find online.
