The Republic Day parade tableau of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology focused on how India is using artificial intelligence in healthcare, logistics, and education to advance social empowerment.
The tractor section of the tableau featured a “female robot” in a contemplative pose, and it rolled down the Kartavya Path on Friday. The tractor’s base featured a three-dimensional scale representation of a chip. The circuit design on the sides, which included LED lights, demonstrated the potential of artificial intelligence to propel India’s prosperity.
An official declaration claims that artificial intelligence is a kinetic facilitator that can help India overcome historical growth obstacles and spark a significant socioeconomic revolution.
According to the report, artificial intelligence is predicted to boost the Indian economy by USD 967 billion by 2035 and the country’s GDP by USD 450–500 billion by 2025, or 10% of the country’s projected USD 5 trillion GDP.
The front of the float illustrated the function of artificial intelligence in the medical field by using robotic hands assisting doctors in surgery and visual inspection of organs.
The center section showed how shipments are identified and separated using artificial intelligence in logistics using color coding. Moreover, self-delivery drones are available that employ AI to find their way and deliver packages.
The bottom part of the tableau showed how artificial intelligence is used to monitor livestock health and assist visually impaired people in navigating, while the back piece showed the significance of AI in education.
Students using smart devices are seen riding electric scooters through the Kartavya Path along the ground landscape.
