Microsoft’s Bing chatbot is now easier for iOS users to use thanks to a new app. The AI has also been improved to respond better when an iPhone user speaks into it.
Windows Central noticed that Microsoft has made a Bing Chat widget that can be added to the home screen. With just one tap, you can start a conversation with the robot. That is a very useful feature for iOS users who use Bing AI often.
In the same Bing blog post where this new iOS feature was announced, Microsoft also said that the voice entry button on the iOS and Android versions of the Bing mobile app now works better. When you press the button, it should now show you right away that it’s listening.
Getting up to speed with Android
The widget is a very convenient touch for regular iPhone users, and it makes the Bing Chat experience on the iPhone the same as it is on Android, which already had this function.
Overall, Microsoft is moving pretty quickly with its Bing AI. Both the mobile and desktop versions of the robot make a lot of progress every week.
Concerning the second point, we just saw that Microsoft has added voice input to desktop PCs. Before, this was only available on mobile devices. The idea is to make talking with the Bing chatbot feel more natural by letting you talk to the AI and having it talk back to you as well.
