As the AI industry expands, companies are competing to attract highly sought-after talent, and they’re not just searching for programmers.
Certain AI-related jobs on Indeed and LinkedIn don’t require a technical background, but many of them do require graduate degrees in software development or machine learning engineering. Businesses want to integrate AI tools into their workflows to increase output, reduce time, and increase revenue, but they also need employees who can bridge the gap between the highly technical and business aspects of the process.
“Organizations are in a desperate need of having individuals understand AI for their businesses,” Work It Daily career coach J.T. O’Donnell stated to Business Insider.
As a result, the emerging tech sector is creating an entirely new group of jobs. According to O’Donnell, “a lot of the jobs have the term AI in it as they try to figure out what to call you,” although some are more clearly defined than others.
In addition to searching employment sites for positions that didn’t require programming knowledge, Business Insider spoke with Alex Libre, principal recruiter at Einstellen Talent, a service that connects applicants with generative AI businesses, to learn more about the non-technical professions that are in demand in the sector.
These nine AI-related occupations (together with the usual salary Libre reports) are available to those without coding experience. The size of the organization and the candidate’s level of experience both affect salary estimations.
