On Thursday, the eve of India’s 75th Republic Day, President Droupadi Murmu gave a speech to the people in which she discussed the numerous accomplishments of the country over the previous 12 months. The President went on to praise the nation’s progress in artificial intelligence and machine learning, noting that these technologies are integrating into people’s daily lives at a “breathtaking speed.”
During her speech, the president declared, “The Amrit Kaal period is also going to be the period of unprecedented technological changes.” While there are some concerns related to AI, she added, there are also exciting opportunities ahead in this sector, especially for the youth. On the eve of this auspicious occasion, India also gratefully salutes the members of our Armed Forces, Police, and Paramilitary Forces, without whose valour and vigil we would not have scaled the great heights we have.
Technology advancements like artificial intelligence and machine learning have swept from the headlines into our everyday lives at a rate that is astounding, according to President Murmu. Though there are a lot of things to be worried about in the near future, there are also a lot of exciting prospects, particularly for young people.
According to the president, the nation’s residents can embrace these technological developments and help the country’s children “remove all hurdles” so they can reach their full potential.
“The realization of our cherished ideal of equality is what they want, not the same old rhetoric of equality,” the speaker stated.
In closing, President Murmu expressed gratitude to the nation’s laborers, farmers, and teachers while also saluting the Indian military forces.
“India also sincerely salutes the members of our Armed Forces, Police, and Paramilitary Forces on the eve of this auspicious occasion, without whose valour and vigil we would not have scaled the great heights we have,” the statement read.
