TCS has reportedly made the decision to deepen its collaboration with Microsoft in order to create AI-based software services. Utilizing the cloud-based AI tool GitHub Copilot is part of Microsoft and OpenAI’s partnership with Azure OpenAI.
Personalized client services for merchants and fraud detection for financial institutions are just two of the many solutions being provided by this instrument. The objective is to increase profit margins, as TCS CEO K Krithivasan stated in a Bloomberg interview.
The partnership’s main goal is to develop market-specific industry-specific solutions. Though estimates indicate it may take at least a few quarters, the timeframe for attaining a meaningful market influence is still unknown.
AI technology is being incorporated by TCS into its software products, and this is helping them close big business agreements. Since taking over as CEO in June, Krithivasan has already started implementing organizational changes to improve client connections and more effectively utilize the experience of top executives.
Indian IT firms are turning their attention to technologies like big data, machine learning, analytics, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence (AI) in order to help clients revitalize their businesses and stay competitive against agile startups, as traditional outsourcing faces margin pressures due to economic concerns and geopolitical tensions.
The CEO of TCS, Krithivasan, emphasized the company’s dedication to improving capabilities for deeper engagement with these transitions and more closely aligning with clients’ future investments. He declared, “We will keep improving so that we can take part in more.”
Similar to this, TCS also declared in May that it is collaborating with Google to provide Vertex AI, a cloud-based generative AI tool, for its Model Garden and to provide solutions for its clients.
