Microsoft is fully embracing generative AI in Windows, and you may have observed its AI chatbot, Copilot, inadvertently appearing in your taskbar, the Edge browser, and a few other strange locations. Copilot is a fantastic tool for writing, analyzing, and coding, but it also has a whimsical side that makes it ideal for imaginative and creative inspirations. Try these ten entertaining suggestions.
Tweeting in your manner
By giving Copilot a file containing samples of your emails, tweets, or other text, you may challenge it to imitate your own writing voice. “Write 3 tweets on [theme] in the style of [your file name],” is the next command to give it. Seeing the AI mimic your linguistic quirks and tone is amusing.
Seek feedback from powerful people
Though everyone has an opinion, what would late visionary thinkers like Socrates or Steve Jobs say about it? Attempt this prompt: “I’ll offer a viewpoint or argument. Comment on it as though you were [name of celebrity]. Copilot will adopt their character in order to expose any gaps in your position.
Draw ridiculous parallels
Would you like to see Copilot’s inventiveness put to the test? Ask it to “Explain why a parrot might make a good jungle king,” or even “Is it possible to walk on water someday?” It’s amusing and amazing at creating plausible-sounding explanations for highly unlikely events.
Be a debator
Copilot can be a useful debating partner when it comes to trending subjects. Act as a debater by using this prompt. Investigate all sides of the [current topic], make compelling arguments, disprove rival viewpoints, and base your conclusions on solid facts. You might notice nuances you had overlooked thanks to its examination.
Interpret your dreams
Use the following prompt to describe a strange dream you’ve ever had to wake up from: “Act as a dream interpreter.” Without making any assumptions about your own, you will understand symbols and themes in my dream narratives. The ensuing realizations may be profound or completely incorrect. Just don’t give them too much credence.
Examine the nature of people
Do you want to see society from an alien perspective? Try this thought-provoking exercise: “You are an extraterrestrial anthropologist researching human traditions and culture. Examine [aspect] objectively and from the outside looking in. It can be enlightening to read Copilot’s distanced theories on our commonplace behaviors. For a potentially more realistic viewpoint, you could alternatively ask it to assume the role of an artificial general intelligence (AGI).
The worst punster in the world
Use Copilot’s good humor to participate in some ridiculous wordplay: “You’re an AI with a penchant for puns and wordplay. Provide a collection of amusing wordplays and puns connected to the specified topic. The outcomes might make people cringe, but they might also highlight the AI’s humor.
Is this a nice day to go out?
Keeping up with local events can be difficult. Ask the following question: “Look through the local news for [your city] today and provide reasoning for whether or not it’s a good day to go out.” Copilot will quickly compile information on events, weather, and other factors into a recommendation.
Generator for wallpaper
You can also get excellent photos from Copilot to use as your wallpaper. To achieve your goals, you can use extremely specific suggestions, such as “Create a surreal landscape with bright colors and a dreamy vibe.” A small person silhouette facing away from the viewer should be included in the foreground.
Meal scheduling
Let the AI get creative when you’re low on ingredients by giving it a prompt such, “I only have tomato and spinach.” Give me three dishes I can make using these ingredients. Copilot will come up with tasty, wholesome culinary ideas on the fly to help cut down on food waste.
