The proposed study will serve as a learning exercise to create a thorough grasp of the dynamics of competition that are emerging in the ecosystems of AI system development, as well as the consequences of AI applications for efficiency, innovation, and competition in important user industries.

To comprehend specific important artificial intelligence (AI) systems, marketplaces, and ecosystems, including AI actors and stakeholders, necessary inputs and resources, value chains, market structures, and competitive factors;
To investigate any new or possible problems with competition in these marketplaces or ecosystems;
To investigate the range and character of AI use cases and applications, and evaluate related prospects, dangers, and implications from a competitive perspective;
To comprehend how the legal and regulatory frameworks controlling AI applications and systems in India and other significant jurisdictions are developing;
To engage with all pertinent parties in order to obtain a comprehensive grasp of the problems at the nexus between AI and competition;
To determine the Commission’s enforcement and lobbying goals regarding artificial intelligence (AI) and its use in markets, as well as to comprehend trends and patterns in the field.
