On December 6, the Karnataka government sent an invitation to entrepreneurs, encouraging them to provide technology-based goods and solutions for various government agencies.
The Department of Electronics, Information Technology and Biotechnology, and Science & Technology’s Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS) has issued a request for proposals from entrepreneurs that are interested in developing products for government agencies. The proposal submission date is January 4, 2024.
Karnataka IT-BT Minister Priyank Kharge stated, “This initiative aligns with our policy to foster innovation and collaboration opportunities for startups.”
“A thorough procedure has been established to choose qualified startups, making it easier for state government agencies to purchase technological goods and services. This is a component of the government’s larger plan to improve Karnataka’s startup ecosystem—the state leads the nation in exports of software and services—Kharge added.
