In collaboration with TechCrunch, iMerit, a leading provider of AI Data Solutions, just concluded the second iteration of its annual summit, the iMerit ML DataOps Summit 2022. A virtual conference called iMerit ML DataOps 2022 concentrated on the confluence of artificial intelligence and machine learning data operations. On November 8 and 11, the summit was virtually broadcast from the United States and the Asia-Pacific region. Speakers from renowned companies including Meta Platforms, DoorDash, Microsoft, IBM, Qualcomm, and others were present. In order to discuss commercialising AI with data intelligence, ML DataOps ready for enterprise AI, resolving data edge cases in production AI, and what’s trending in ML DataOps, approximately 4000 data scientists, engineers, and machine learning professionals gathered at the 2022 summit.
Keynote speakers at the summit included data scientists, engineers, and pioneers in AI and ML from a range of fields, including autonomous driving, medical AI, and technology. Here are some significant leaders who attended the event’s insights. Manohar Paluri, Director of AI at Meta Platforms, discussed a straightforward yet practical methodology for advancing technology that will have an influence on the final product while pushing the boundaries of AI research. Beata Kouchnir, Director of Machine Learning Science at Glassdoor, and Anna Bethke, Ethical AI Data Scientist at Salesforce, talked about the need of putting humans in the loop and using high-quality data to develop production AI applications that are used widely.
The iMerit ML DataOps Summit also featured a virtual expo that featured vendors of data annotation and automation tools that are constructing the ML DataOps future. Virtual exhibitors interacted with participants as part of the expo through 1:1 networking, in-person booth conversations, and the sharing of resources including product demos, whitepapers, and more.
The summit was concluded by Radha Basu, founder and CEO of iMerit, who shared the important insights listed below with the audience as tools for moving forward with the deployment of their enterprise AI application. The closure of Argo caused the autonomous car sector to experience a number of problems. Chris Barker, an expert in autonomous mobility, promised that fleet operations in trucking, logistics, and agriculture will significantly advance in 2023 and beyond and that autonomy will continue to play a key role in moving people and freight. Businesses will keep putting a lot of time and attention into expanding data pipelines with experts in the loop in order to commercialise AI. To maintain quality, prevent undesirable results, and correct unintentional bias and data drifts, human intelligence will be essential. An important area of focus in the AI ecosystem is MLDataOps, which combines talent, technology, and production methods to provide precise data at the desired production scale.
