A mobile app with machine learning embedded has been created by the Delhi-based team of Tejas Kumar, Syed Mohd Husain, and Ujjwal Mathur to automate and customise speech treatment. The programme, which is accessible in multiple regional languages, provides access to a virtual speech therapist around-the-clock at a reasonable cost.
Children are encouraged to practise hard to improve their speech by receiving points in the app for pronouncing words correctly.
